Presence ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Presence mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
Information We Collect
When you use Presence, we collect the following information:
- Account credentials: Your access code and display name, used to authenticate you within the app.
- Device information: Your Apple Push Notification service (APNs) device token, used solely to send you push notifications.
- Video content: Videos you upload through the app are stored in Dropbox for processing and scheduling to your social media accounts.
- Social media data: Post scheduling information, platform links, and publicly available engagement statistics (views, likes, comments, shares) for posts published on your behalf.
How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and provide access to your personalized dashboard.
- To upload and schedule your video content to connected social media platforms.
- To send you push notifications about new content suggestions, post status updates, and weekly performance summaries.
- To generate personalized content ideas using AI (powered by third-party language models).
- To display engagement analytics for your published posts.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Presence:
- Supabase: Cloud database and backend infrastructure for storing your account data, notifications, and scheduling information.
- Dropbox: File storage for uploaded videos and media assets.
- Ayrshare: Social media scheduling and publishing platform that posts content to your connected accounts.
- OpenAI: AI language model used to generate daily content suggestions based on your profile context.
- Apple Push Notification service (APNs): Used to deliver push notifications to your device.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing the data they process on our behalf.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure provided by Supabase (hosted on AWS). We use row-level security policies to ensure users can only access their own data. All data transmission between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Device tokens are removed when you log out of the app. If you wish to have all your data deleted, please contact us at the email address below.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request deletion of your personal data.
- Opt out of push notifications at any time through your device settings.
Children's Privacy
Presence is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
